RECIPE
2 Cups rice boiled with saltDrain Fry 1 sliced or chopped .onion till golden in colourAdd while peppercorns Luvang .Tuk ..whole Jeeru (Cumin)..Elachi (cardomom)2 green or red fresh slit chillies (optional)Few curry leaves (optional)NowAdd 1 kg cut up chicken or mutton 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste Add 1 tablespoon green chilli pasteAdd 2 tablespoon jeera powder (only)1 teaspoon tumeric again (to get a nice lemony greeny colour)Handful of chopped green dhania (coriander)(Optional Is Tomato ..you may leave it out or at this stage you can add2 small grated tomato )Cook braise well add peas and cut up carrot rounds and potatoes or just mixed vegesLet it mix well Add water only if necessaryCook few minutesNow add to potAdd in all the riceAdd ¼ cup waterThen Make a wagaar againWith little onion whole Jeeru (Cumin) and ghee (Clarified butter)Pour over the riceCover with foilBake in oven at 180 * for 60-90 minutes Garnish again with little chopped dhania (coriander)Enjoy with salads and or dahi achars etc
