INGREDIENTS
1 kilo chicken fillets cubed(or if you prefer one full chicken cut into pieces and,make slits in the fleshy parts of the chicken)500ml double thick full cream yoghurt 2 tablespoons crushed garlicSalt to taste2 whole green chilles½ bunch fresh coriander(dhania (coriander)) leaves and stemsHandfull fresh curry leavesFew fresh mint leaves2 teaspoon fine cumin (jeera)2 drops green gel colouring.75grams butter2 teaspoon maziena mixed in a little cold water
METHOD
Pour half of the yoghurt into a blender add garlic,green chillies,mint,curry leaves,coriander,salt,jeera,green colouring.(all ingredients marked with )Blitz untill green herbs are fine.Pour the balance of the yogurt in and blend with a spoon,check that you have a nice green colour.Marinade your chicken for an hour,if you have the time,or just leave for 15 minutes.Layer in a pot and cut the butter over the chicken.Cook on a medium heat untill done.Lastly add your maziena mixture and give it a quick stir to thicken the sauce.Serve with Puri or Roti.......I rolled Jeera Puri a little thicker and served with my chicken,it gave it a new taste sensation.I will post recipe in my next insta post😘
