1&½ cup castor sugar250 gm butter1 cup oilApprox 6 cups flour to form firm dough½ teaspoon nutmeg½ teaspoon elaichi powder2 teaspoon baking powder¾ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
-Beat together butter & sugar.-Add oil & beat well.-Add nutmeg & elaichi.-Sift together 1cup flour, bicarb & baking powder & add to above mixture.-Add remaining flour a little at a time mixing well after each edition.-Roll into balls and flatten.-Decorate with almonds dipped in egg white & bake at 180* for 15-20 minutes.
