INGREDIENTS
24 slices white/brown breadLunch meat/ smoked salmon ribbons, shredded tuna etc.Baby cherry tomatoesCucumberMayonnaiseCream cheeseSalt and pepperSliced cheese (optional)
METHOD
1. Cut off crusts.2. Mix 1 part cream cheese to 1 part mayonnaise.3. Place 4 slices next to each other and spread across the bread the cream cheese mayo. 4. Place on cucumber slices.5. Place ontop of cucumbers another 4 slices. Spread cream cheese mayo. 6. Place on lunch meat.7. Place ontop of lunch meat, another 4 slices. Spread cream cheese mayo. 8. Slice tomatoes and layer on.9. Place ontop of tomatoes another 4 slices. Spread cream cheese mayo. 10. Place on lunch meat.11. Place ontop of lunch meat another 4 slices. Spread cream cheese mayo. 12. Place on sliced cheese or more sliced cucumbers.13. Lastly place on last 4 slices of bread. 14. Mark the circumference of a circle that uses up the maximum of the bread with a cake pan.15. Cut the cake into a circle.16. Spread on cream cheese mayo onto the sides.17. Press against the sides, shoots of spring onions/chives.18. Cut the layered sandwich how you would for a slice of cake.
INFO & TIPS
Note: Spread on the cream mayo sparingly so it's not too tangy. May use pestos or other sauces of choice.
