My styleRECIPE
4 potatoes cut in halves add a bit of tumeric to it and fry till golden brown(Boiiled eggs are optional) FOR CHICKEN Marinate for few hours or overnight+1 kg Chicken cut up in big pieceswith 2 onions sliced and fried till nice and crispy in 3 - 4 tablespoon oil and 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)3 whole fresh green or fresh red chilli 1 teaspoon lemon juiceSaffron or few drops saffron essence1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic1 ½ teaspoon salt1 tablespoon Dhana Jeera mix1 tablespoon almond powder (optional) ¼ teaspoon tumeric½ teaspoon crushed red chilli+- 2 teaspoon Kashmiri Chilli powder1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)5-6 crushed black peppercorns Crushed Elachi (cardomom) or use 3 whole Elachi (cardomom) pods2 - 3 Cinnamon sticks 3 cloves Add½ cup whipped full cream maas orYoghurt2 medium tomato grated2-3 tablespoon Tomato pureeCook on Med heat till almost done Add fried potatoesOptionaland if adding boiled eggs lla e on top of kalya once cooked And garnish with chopped green dhania (coriander)Serve with 2 cups boiled Rice with peas
