INGREDIENTS
1 cup rice¼ teaspoon tumeric powderPinch of salt2 whole elaichi2 cinnamon sticks3 clovesHandful of raisins ½ cup ghee (Clarified butter) ½ cup sugar1 cup boiling water
METHOD
Boil the rice with tumeric and salt until done and leave aside.Melt ghee (Clarified butter) in a pot pot add Elachi (cardomom) , cinnamon sticks , cloves and raisins and braise on low heat for a few minutes.Add in boiling water.Allow the syrup to boil until thick Add the boiled rice and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.Top with almonds.
