½ kg Beef Mince1 large onion finely sliced2 tablespoons red ginger garlic masalaSalt to taste 2 teaspoon coarse red chillies2 teaspoon fine dry dhana (coriander)2 teaspoon fine dry jeera (cumin)½ teaspoon haldi(tumeric)2 medium sized tomatoes liquidised2 cups frozen peas (rinse and steam in microwave untill soft)
Heat oil add sliced onion and fry untill golden brown.Add red ginger garlic masala and braise a little add beef mince and braise untill colour changes.Add dry spices and cook a little, add tomatoes and cook untill it starts to get dry.Lastly add steamed peas and cook untill all the water is cooked out.
Serve with roti or puri’s
I served mine in a vetkoek (which is a fried dough bread)I used @snowflake Magwenya flour mix.,it came out nice and soft and crisp on the outside.Please follow the instructions on the packet😘
