INGREDIENTS
1 chicken, cut into pieces1.5 teaspoon ginger garlic1 teaspoon salt½ teaspoon tumeric2 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon red crushed chillies2 teaspoon crushed dhania (coriander)/jeeru (cumin)½ teaspoon black pepper½ teaspoon white pepper1 teaspoon lemon pepper2 tomatoes grated (I used can)2 tablespoon tomato paste2 tablespoon tomato sauce1 tablespoon mustard sauce2 tablespoon chilli sauce2 tablespoon mayonaise¼ teaspoon yellow colouring½ teaspoon saffron
Vagaar2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)2 tablespoon oil2 cinnamon sticks, 2 cloves , 2 Elachi (cardomom) pods2 teaspoon sesame seeds 2 teaspoon sliced almonds
METHOD
1. Marinade chicken and cook till almost done. Keep saucy.Can also be baked in the oven on 180 degrees for 1 hour.2. Fry potato wedges and add to chicken.3. Make vagaar (cook on low heat) and pour over chicken. 4. Garnish with fried onions and dhania (coriander).
INFO & TIPS
Can serve with peas, carrots and baby corn
Absolutely delicious and so easy.
