INGREDIENTS
500g chicken fillet (medium cubes)½ bottle Amina's Portuguese marinade1 tablespoon tomato sauce¼ teaspoon salt (or more, to taste)1 teaspoon chilli powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo (coriander cumin) powder1 tablespoon honey1 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon dried rosemary(Ground red or green chillies- optional for more heat)
METHOD
1. Heat a little oil in pot, add spices and braise till fragrant, add chicken and coat.2. Mix in all other ingredients and coat well and allow to cook through.3. Cook sauce down.4. When done, shred chicken.5. Cut samoosa pur in half lengthwise.6. With 2 strips, place pur in a cross shape [ + ] meeting at the center OR in a capital "L", with the two ends meeting.7. Place filling in center of the "+" or at the spot joining of the "L" and wrap the one strip inwards, then the other strip until a square is formed.8. Seal together with lai9. Dip in egg & breadcrumbs.(Freezer suitable now)10. Fry in shallow oil on medium heat till golden and crispy on either side. Serve with chutney
