INGREDIENTS
White or brown sliced breadGrated gouda or cheddar cheese (may use a mix or even use mozzarella mixed with)Tomato (sliced in thinly sliced rounds)Fresh green chillies (very thinly sliced in rounds)Frozen sweetcorn Onion (finely sliced)ButterSalt Freshly crack black pepperMargarine/butter (to spread)
METHOD
1. Cook onion and corn in microwave with butter, pinch salt and black pepper till corn is cooked.2. Spread margarine on the inside of bread.3. Place on grated cheese, sliced chillies, onion and corn, sliced tomato and a little more cheese.4. Close the sandwich.5. Heat up a pan/skillet on medium heat.6. Spread margarine on the outside of sandwich. 7. Place buttered side on the hot pan, and spread margarine on the side facing up.8. Toast till golden and crispy on one side, then flip over and repeat.
INFO & TIPS
Note: can replace chillies with jalapenos or sweet peppadews or even green bell pepper diced small.
