INGREDIENTS
500 g philly topside steaks cut into long strips 1 teaspoon garlic paste 1 teaspoon crushed fresh red and green chillies relishes Seasonings salt and pepper2 Tablespoons mochacho chilli spice1 Tablespoon steakhouse sauce 1 teaspoon dhania (coriander)/ jerro powder 1 teaspoon chillies powder 1 teaspoon mustard sauce¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 tablespoon worschire sauce 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce 1 tablespoon mayonnaise1 red onions sliced Oil/olive oil 2 Avacado optionalTricoloured peppers cut into stripsCheese mozzarella grated ½ cup fresh cream 1 Tablespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter) 1 Tablespoon jalapeños sauce or rings 6 tortillas store bought or made from scratch see recipe below Sourcream spreads
METHOD
PreparationIn a bowl, add washed, cut steak into strips, spices and sauces and marinate. Cling wrap and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes. In a frying pan, heat oil, fry red onions followed by tri coloured peppers, sprinkle seasoning lightly fry, do not overcook remove, set aside in a plate. In the same frying pan, add butter ghee (Clarified butter) fry the marinated strip of steak. When it's almost cooked add in fresh cream to thicken sauce. Spread sour cream out on the prepared or store bought tortilla on one half of the tortilla and divide in equal portions,add steak strip marinated and cooked fresh cream, sprinkle jalapeños rings if its too strong omit. Just add sauce. If you using avos slices and grated cheese add on for a full work of the philly cheesesteak Quesidillas cover set aside. Cheesesteak queasddilas, toast and leave to cool. These can be cut in halves and served immediately. Quasidillas are very filling and can be served at brekki or as a meal for hungry kidz.
Tortilla (MEXICAN STYLE)
2 ¼ cups flour ¾ teaspoon salt1 ½ teaspoon baking powder75g butter (room temperature) 1 cup warm water add a little more if dough still feels dry add 1 Tablespoon olive oil
MethodIn a bowl, sift all dry ingredients. Using finger tips, rub the butter into the flour until it resembles bread crumbs. Now use the warm water make a pliable dough. Cover with a kitchen tea cloth rest few minutes until you see a slight rise, uncover and make even portions of ball. Roll into a side plate size or choice you prefer. On stove top, place a tawa and fry the tortilla as it starts to change colour flip and do the same on the other side. Keep covered with damp cloth until ready to assemble the quasidellas.Bon appetite❤️Shu-Hani❤️

Get your hands dirty, keep lots of serviettes on hand, fresh cream dripping as you scream.. .. OMG with the juicy succulent cheese steak...with cheese oozing.. Don't shy away... It's a messy affair.....
