RECIPE
2 ingredient dough used for the naan
4 cups selfraising flourYoghurt to make doughSumi added some crushed green chillies in the dough
Potatoe Filling
4 potatoes peeled, cubed & boiled with ½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric) 1 teaspoon salt. Mash & keep aside.
3 medium carrots grated1 green pepper grated. Water squeezed out1 small onion cubed.
Put some ghee (Clarified butter) in a frying pan. Add in carrots, green pepper & onion.To this add the following spices. 1 teaspoon lemon pepper 1 teaspoon garlic flakes 1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)1 teaspoon garlic & herb innapamans spice 2 teaspoon crushed green chillies or according to taste Mix well & stir fry until tender.
Add this to mash potatoe & mix. Garnish with finely chopped dhania (coriander) & spring onions. Drizzle some lemon juice over filling.
Roll dough into small rotis. Spread green or red chutney (optional) on one roti. Spread filling. Cover with another roti. Fry on a heated pan or tawa like roti.
