RECIPE
Heat in microwave for 1 minutes1 & ¾ cups milk¼ cup melted butter ½ teaspoon saltRemovePour into a large dish or mixing BowlAdd¼ cup sugar1 heaped teaspoon freshly ground nutmegBeat 2 Eggs weladd to the milk mixture1 teaspoon Vanilla essenceMix all well Add 1 heaped tablespoon dry yeastAgain ¼ cup sugarBeat well Gradually add flour as you mixing +- 3 cups Mix to a very sticky dough on a floured boardLeave to rise in warm place for 1 Hour Then Knead again add more flour if you require Roll out dough or Pat and cut withdoughnut cutter not too thick as it swells when you fryAnd remember the dough must be softPlace gently in a floured board so it lifts up easily when you need to fry
Fry in. MEDIUM HOT OIL and drain on a paper towel
SERVING SUGGESTION
Roll hot doughnuts in castor sugar
Make a paste with icing sugar and waterAnd few drops of vanilla essenceAnd dip the whole doughnuts
Dip in melted chocolate or caramel chocolate or white chocolateUse Sprinkles, choc chips, chopped pecans or nibbed almonds.. etcEnjoy
