INGREDIENTS
200g butter
1 ¾ cup sugar
200ml golden syrup
1 egg
2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
4 teaspoon ground dry ginger
½ teaspoon cloves
500g self rising flour
100g cake flour
2 ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
METHOD
Beat the butter and sugar until light
and fluffy
Add the egg and beat well
Add the golden syrup and sift in the
dry
ingredients. Mix well to form a soft
dough
Roll into small balls. Dip the top of
each
biscuit into a bowl of sugar Place well
apart
onto greased oven tray and bake in a
moderate
oven until well browned.
NB! preheat oven to 180, reduce heat
when biscuits are placed in the oven

big balls
and dont pace too close to each other.
