1kg lamb or beef50ml oil1 large onion . Sliced thick4 carrots sliced about 1inch thick2 potatoes1 cup peasFresh thyme1 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon fine salt2tblsp flour
In a large pot, brown onions and meat with salt, pepper and thyme. Once meat is half cooked add carrots and potatoes. Add about 2 cups of water and let it simmer slowly till soft.Add the peas and flour. Mix well.

1 cup flour
2tsp baking powder
Salt 1/4 tsp
Pepper to taste
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
Combine all the ingredients until you get a soft dough. Add spoonfuls in the last 15 mins. Do not open the pot in that time.
N.b. salt and pepper can be adjusted to taste.
Potatoes and carrots should be cut the same size or close for even cooking (my kids like chunky carrots)
Brown meat well to get a rich gravy.
