30ml Oil1 medium Onion(finely chopped)30ml crushed Garlic1 punnet mushrooms(washed and sliced)250ml fresh cream30ml flour(mixed with 100ml water)10ml salt3 1/2ml Black pepper
METHOD FOR STEAK:Braise Steak in garlic butter.Add rest of ingredients.When the water of the steak dries up,add more water until steak is cooked..steak must remain juicy.
METHOD FOR MUSHROOM SAUCE:Heat oil in a saucepan & saute' onion until soft and lightly golden.Add garlic & mushrooms and saute' for 5 minutes.Add cream,flour mixture, salt and pepper.Allow to cook until the sauce thickens.Pour sauce over the cooked steakserves 6-8
