INGREDIENTS
6 gem squash halvesButterSaltPepper1 packet Knorr mac 'and cheeseMilk and water (as required)Grated cheese (optional)Dried mixed herbs
METHOD
1. Steam gem squash in a pot, skin side up, until the flesh is tender.2. Test by skewering it.3. When done, then smear a little butter inside.4. Sprinkle pinch salt and pepper into each one. Leave aside.5. In a pot/ deep saucepan, bring water and milk to boil.6. Add in half teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice) spice.7. Empty packet contents into it and allow to cook, stirring continuously until done.8. Spoon into gems.9. Sprinkle on cheese and dash dried mixed herbs.10. Melt cheese in microwave or preheated oven.
