INGREDIENTS
Filling-500ml fresh cream/ or Orley whip (chilled)Icing sugar (to taste)4 tablespoon cocoa powder6x rolls Nestle Rolo chocolateWoolworths toffee sauceSalt (optional)
Brownies-250g Stork to bake margarine/ or butter½ cup cocoa powder1 ¼ cups castor sugar4 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla essence1 cup cake flour (sifted)1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
METHOD
Brownies-1. Preheat oven to 180°C.2. Spray 'and Cook a 20cmx20cm square oven proof pan/pyrex dish.3. Melt the baking margarine on the stove.4. Add in cocoa powder and mix in.5. Add in sugar and dissolve sugar.6. Remove from heat, and with a whisk, mix in 1 egg at a time.7. Then mix in vanilla.8. Add in flour and mix in.9. Then add in baking powder and mix in.10. Batter should be glossy and smooth.11. Pour into pan/pyrex and bake in preheated oven for +/-20mins. 12. Whilst hot cut into squares. Allow to cool.
Filling-1. Whilst brownie is baking, whip cream with cocoa and icing sugar till stiff peaks form.2. Leave some Rolo aside to decorate top of dessert.3. Chop the remainder Rolos into quarters.
Assembly-1. Divide whipped cream into 3 parts. 2. Spoon ⅓ of chocolate cream into individual glasses/bowls or a serving dish. 3. Roughly crumble half of the brownie over.4. Add on half of chopped Rolos. (Sprinkle a little pinch of salt over if you'd like it to have a "salted caramel flavour". 5. Spoon on another ⅓ of cream and remainder brownie.6. Place on remainder of chopped Rolos (and pinch of salt).7. Top with last third of cream and drizzle on some Toffee sauce (sprinkle salt) and decorate with Rolos.8.
