INGREDIENTS
8-10 boiled cabbage leaves Mince1 cup boiled basmati rice1 teaspoon paprika1 teaspoon Cumin½ teaspoon chilli powder ½ teaspoon fennel powder1 teaspoon ginger/garlic pasteOil or butter Store bought tomatoes sauce/ u can make your own
METHOD
1)Heat a pan with oil and add the mince.2)Brown the mince and add all the spices above and cook for another two minutes.3)When the mince is almost done cooking add rice and continue to stir to avoid rice sticking on the pan.3)Lastly add garlic and ginger , coz u still going to put this in the oven so we need to still taste the garlic and the ginger...4)When the rice and mince is done cooking put it aside to cool completely...
Rolling....1) take one cabbage leaf and put two tablespoons of the mince and rice mixture..2) NOW FOLD IT LIKE HOW U FOLD your SPRING ROLLS..3)In your square baking dish or a casserole pan pour half of the tomato sauce and make a layer of your stuffed cabbage...4) After layering all your stuffed cabbage pour the remaining tomato sauce and cover with aluminium foil.5) Bake in a 250 degree oven for 45 minutes...6) serve with a side of your choice and enjoy..
