INGREDIENTS
1kg Mutton pieces 2 onions finely chopped 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 2 Cardomom pods 2 Cinnamon sticks 4 Peppercorns¼ cup oil¼ cup ghee (Clarified butter)
2 teaspoon chillie powder 2 heaped teaspoon kashmiri chillie powder 2 teaspoon crushed chillie 2 teaspoon cumin and corriander powder 2 teaspoon gurum masala1 level teaspoon tumeric powder 3 full teaspoon salt1 heaped tablespoon ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 potatoes (microwave for 5 minutes or fry )3 grated tomatoes 2 cups uncooked basmati rice
METHOD
Heat oil and ghee (Clarified butter). Add cumin seeds , cardomom , cinnamon, pepper corns and allow it to sizzle. Add onions and fry till golden. Add all the spices to Mutton and mix. Add to onions and cook for 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook for 45 minutes or until the meat is cooked and tender.Add rice and potatoes and enough boiling water to cover the rice.
Add chopped corriander, mint and green chillies.
Allow it to boil for 5 minutes making sure it doesn't burn. Cover with foil and steam in oven 160 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with dhai and saladsOnce tasted never wasted 😋Share as received ⭐⭐⭐
