INGREDIENTS
1kg chickenRed ginger garlic masalaPeppercorns Dhana powder jeeru (cumin) Powder Chillie powder Tomatoes Tomato pasteBasmati riceFrozen mixed vegPotatoes
METHOD
1. Braise 1 chopped onion in ghee (Clarified butter)/oil, with 1 teaspoon jeeru (cumin) (cumin ) seeds, 3 Elachi (cardomom) (cardamom ) pods, 1 cinnamon stick and 3 peppercorns until onion is brown. 2. Add in 1kg chicken with 2 tablespoon red ginger garlic paste ( I used @chilliesauthenticmasala ) and cook 7 minutes till chicken changes color. 3. Then add in 1 and ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon tumeric, 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chillie powder, 1 teaspoon jeeru (cumin) (cumin) powder, 2 teaspoon dhana (coriander) powder, 2 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 grated tomatoes and 1 Tbslpn tomato paste and cook 10 minutes. 4. Add in 2 cups washed basmati rice, 2 or 3 chopped potatoes, 3 tablespoon mix veg and ¼ teaspoon yellow coloring(optional). Add enough water to cover rice. 5. Steam on high heat for 5 minutes then on low heat for about 25-30 minutes until dry. ENJOY 😍
