INGREDIENTS
For Bhajias:
Half a kg chicken fillet - cubed1 teaspoon ground green chillies1 teaspoon red masala or ginger&garlic1 teaspoon fine dhania (coriander) powderHalf teaspoon crushed jeeraGreen dhania (coriander) +springonionsHalf teaspoon crushed red chillies 1 teaspoon saltLemon juiceMarinate all of the above
Other ingredients;B4 frying add half cup sour milk or yoghurt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 cup chana flour.
For the Chaat Cups:-Phyllo/Filo pastry (layer in a greased muffin tin and bake till golden brown)-Shred some of the phyllo/filo finely and fry till golden brown-Lettuce leaves-Fried Bhajias-Chopped coriander -Yoghurt and mint sauce-Aamli sauce
METHOD
For Bhajias:1.) Marinate the chicken with all of the above ingredients 2.) B4 frying add half cup sour milk or yoghurt. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 cup chana flour. Mix with little water. Mixture musnt b watery. Mix and fry in medium hot oil (deep oil)ENJOY π
For Bhajia Chaat Cups:1.) Add lettuce at the bottom of the baked phyllo/filo pastry cups.2.) Top with yoghurt and mint sauce and aamli sauce, add bhajia pieces and more sauces then top with shredded filo/phyllo and chopped dhana for garnishing.
