For the Latte:1 cup milk¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)Pinch of cinnamon powder1 cinnamon stick Pinch of black pepper 1 whole Elachi (cardomom) (slightly popped open)Elachi (cardomom) powder (optional)1 finger length of fresh ginger (wash and cut into rounds - don’t peel) Other ingredients: Topping:¼ cup milk (froth with a milk frother)Sprinkles of cinnamon and Elachi (cardomom) powder Sweetener:1 ¼ teaspoon honey (adjust sweetness to your taste)
1.) Put all of the Latte ingredients in a saucepan and stir frequently over medium heat, let it boil 2-3 times until a creamy milk layer forms on the top and the milk lessens to ¾ cup.2.) Add the honey into the glass, pour in the boiled arad (Turmeric) milk, top with the plain frothed milk, sprinkle with a little more cinnamon and Elachi (cardomom) powder to serve (optional). Serve hot.
