Cake:1 &½ cups golden brown sugarPinch salt2 teaspoon baking powder ⅓ cup oil1 eggorange zest from 1 orangeJuice of half an orange (optional)1 teaspoon vanilla essence ¾ cup milk¾ cup boiled hot water2 tablespoon coffee 2 tablespoon cocoa powder2 tablespoon hot chocolate powder2 cups flour Buttercream icing:100g softened butter1 cup icing sugarFew drops yellow and red food colouringCaramel essence or orange essence
- Mix all cake ingredients and pour into greased cake tin. Bake 45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.Cool cake completely before icing. - For icing mix ingredients together and beat till light and fluffy. Ice cake only when completely cool. Decorate as desired eg. With orange curls and candied orange slices and edible gold dust. Enjoy :)
