RECIPE
Boil 3 ½ cups rice ½ way and drain rinse and set aside.Fry 6 potatoes cut in ½.
Marinate 2 kg chicken pieces in:1 teaspoon each:salt chillie powder arad (Turmeric) dhana jeeroo crushed chillies garam masala 1 tablespoon @sujees gourmet foods kholvad masala 2 tablespoon @sujees gourmet foods aliphor chicken masala 1 teaspoon @ mrsP's harissa paste 2 teaspoon green ginger garlic masala 1 teaspoon red ginger garlic masala 1 ½ cups liquidised tomatoes Saffron essence 1 cup fried onions (set aside ¼ cup)¼ cup lemon juice Chopped dhania (coriander) etc.Few curry leaves
Melt 100g butter and ½ cup oil.(I used the onion oil).Add marinated chicken. Cook 15 to 20 minutes.Top with potatoes then rice.Dot with butter and a good sprinkle of fried onions Cover with foil Place in hot oven for 35 to 40 minutes.Serve with dahi and salads and atchaar
