INGREDIENTS
Mince & Feta Filling:1/2kg mince1 small onion sliced2 tablespoon oilJeera seeds1 Grated tomatoe1 tablespoon green masalaSalt to taste 1 tablespoon chillie powder 1 tablespoon dhanya powder ½ teaspoon tumeric powder Crumbled fetaMozzarella or white cheddar cheese gratedChopped fresh dhanya
4-6 Long green pepper chillies, slit in middle lengthwise and seeds scooped out and rinsed
Batter:1 egg½ cup cake flour1 teaspoon baking powder Salt to taste½ teaspoon chillie powder ½ teaspoon jeera powder¼ teaspoon tumeric powder
METHOD
- For the filling, saute onion and jeera seeds in the oil till translucent - Add in all ingredients besides the fresh dhanya and cheeses and cook till all water evaporated - Cool then stir in the feta and other white cheese and fresh chopped dhanya - Fill the long green pepper chillies with the mince & feta mixture- Mix batter, should be thick- Dip the stuffed chillies in the batter and fry in medium hot oil till chillies become a bit golden- Serve with homemade mash and garlic bread- Enjoy :)
