500g Steak freshly ground mince1 teaspoon ginger, garlic mixed fresh crushed red chillies with olive oil ½ teaspoon lemon juice or ½ lemon freshly squeezed1 teaspoon salt1 punnet mushroom (optional) Pinch tumeric ½ teaspoon garum masala (garnishing) ½ teaspoon suhanas red chilli powder½ teaspoon mixed dhania (coriander)/ jeera1 large red onions chopped 1 teaspoon whole jeera Pinch freshly ground black pepper2 Tblespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter)Handful chopped in chunks, chillies polony or salamisChopped fresh leafy dhania (coriander) or mint leaves Oregano dried herbs Oil for braising.1 cup cheddar cheese½ tub cream cheese3 wheels fete cheeseFresh cream optionsl
In a medium frying pan, add oil, chopped red onions and whole jeera till lightly brown. Add in washed mince, lemon juice seasonings ginger garlic and mixed crushed chillies.fry on high heat, keep stirring avoid scorching, lower heat add spices, drizzle butter ghee (Clarified butter) except garum masala. Once mixture is cooked, oil surface to the top means your filling is now ready. Remove cool set aside. Sprinkle garum masala and chopped dhania (coriander) or fresh chopped mint leaves.
Pizza base Ingredients
2 ½ cups cake flour 1 x 10g anchor yeast purple sachet Pinch saltPinch sugar1 cup warm water Sprinkle oregano
DoughIn a bowl add all dry ingredients and mix with warm water, oregano, to a smooth dough, cover with Cling wrap to rise double in size.
Prepare a tray or flat sheet, grease, roll and shape dough and place in pan.
AssemblingUse any sauce eg. sweet chilli, BBQ or tomotoe sauce for base, evenly, sprinkle steak Mince filling followed by pan fried mushroom (if using and top with salami) Bake this in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes remove and add the following ingredients
Toppings Top with 1 cup grated cheddar cheese, ½ tub cream cheese 3 fete wheels, crumble sprinkle freshly ground black pepper. Bake further 5 minute until just about cheese melts remove and drizzle fresh cream. (optional)
This makes 2 pizzas, you can choose your filling and toppings according to family palate.One can use a tandoori pizza oven if available or bake on a braai (bbq) stand on controlled heat, foiled,remove from foil if you want to have charred streaks or a charcoal smoked rustic baseScrumptious..🍕
