250g butter 1 ¼ cup tasty wheat or semolina 4 cardomom pods2 cinnamon sticks 3 cups milk 1 ½ cups sugar ½ cup klim (optional) 3 eggs¼ teaspoon zafron essence or saffron strands ½ teaspoon yellow food colouring ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
Beat milk ,eggs ,sugar ,yellow food colouring, zafron essence, klim and keep aside. Melt butter. Add cardomom and cinnamon sticks .Let it sizzle. Then add semolina. Braise for 10 - 12 minutes on low, stirring all the time till light in colour. Do not brown. Add the milk mixture. Stir all the time till thick. Simmer on low heat till combined and smooth.
