INGREDIENTS
Tangzhong3 tablespoon milk3 tablespoon water2 tablespoon flour
Dough2 Β½ cups of flour ΒΌ cup sugar1 tablespoon salt1 packet instant yeast Β½ cup warm milk1 large egg4 tablespoon unsalted melted butter
METHOD
To make the tangzhong:Mix water, milk and flour and whisk until there are no lumps.
Pour the mix in the saucepan and place over low heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until thick and doesnβt stick to the pan...
Transfer the tangzhong into a mixing bowl and let it cook at room temperature..
For the dough:Combine the tangzhong with the remaining dough ingredients, mix and knead by hand until it forms smooth dough..
Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise for 90 minutes or more.
After rising divide the dough into 8-15 pieces and roll into balls, place them into a baking pan and let them rise for 30-40 minutes.
Preheat the oven into 350 degrees....brush the rolls with egg wash and sprinkle some seeds.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top...remove them from the oven and let them cool.

You can use milk powder instead of normal milk
