My Easy Style
Serves 5 - 6
Heat and Fry in 4 tablespoon oil and 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)2 medium onion (1 sliced and 1 grated) till crisp Remove and crush it slightlyThen to the same oil braise 1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin) 2 small pieces of Taj 2 Elachi (cardomom) 4 whole peppercorns 2 Cloves2 slit Fresh Whole Green or Red ChilliBraise When aroma arises Add the fried onion and the above whole spices Now to 500g (half kg) cut up nice Pieces of leg mutton¼ cup well beaten up Maas ORplain dble thick Yoghurt2 tablespoon Tomato puree2 Grated Tomatoes1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional) 1 full teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste 1 tablespoon Kashmiri Chilli powder Or To Taste 1 teaspoon Crushed chilli (optional)1 Heaped tablespoon Spoon Dhana Jeera mix¼ teaspoon tumeric1 teaspoon Paprika (optional)1 teaspoon salt or to taste SaffronMix all well let it marinade for 1 hour or more Add to pot Cook on low heat till meats are done You might need some water you may add to soften the meatsWhen almost done Add 3-4 well fried Potatoes cut in wedges Cook till well blended to the curry When done Garnish with Chopped Green dhania (coriander) Optional :Boiled & Shelled EggsMay be added if you preferAnd Almond powder or Cashew Nuts for a much more exotic favour Serving suggestionRice Salads rolls naan or naan rotis Enjoy 😋
