INGREDIENTS
Cut steak in bite size pieces. I used about ½kg steak.
Marinate steak with :
-Chilli powder (depends on the heat you prefer). I used 1 ¼ teaspoon.-¼ teaspoon turmeric powder-1½ teaspoon danya powder-1 teaspoon jeera powder-Just under ¼ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder -Just under ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder-salt to taste-1 teaspoon ginger and garlic-1 teaspoon chicken/mutton masala (I used Mumbai spices)
Separately:-Wash the bhindi (lady fingers). And dry it with paper towel or cloth.-Cut the stem off the top.-Add chilli powder, Turmeric powder and salt.-Give it a nice toss.-Fry (in shallow oil,but not too shallow) in a separate pan till crispy (not black)-Leave aside
METHOD
Braise 1 sliced onions in some oil till golden brown.Add steak.Let it fry a bit then add some water.After water dries up add 2 chopped/grated tomatoes.Add water and cook till steak is soft.Add bhindi (lady fingers) and switch off.
Serve with bread or roti😋
