INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups rice
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
2 tablespoon red pepper, cut finely
2 tablespoon green pepper , cut finely
4 large tomatoes , liquidized
1 tablespoon tomato puree
½ teaspoon fresh red chillies
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin crushed
¼ teaspoon basil
METHOD
Cook rice in salted, boiling water and drain.
heat oil and fry garlic and red and green pepper.
Add the tomato, tomato puree and spices and
cook on
low heat until you have thick chutney.
Add the rice and mix well.
Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
INFO & TIPS
Best served with tasty chicken strips.
