RECIPE
Use your tried & tested favorite plain cake recipe.Add 2 or 3 teaspoon aniseed. Bake in a rectangular pan or pyrex dish until done.
Cool & cut cake into 1cm thick slices. Place on baking tray & bake in a oven @ 120 & turning in between until slices Crispin. Allow to cool.
I like to spread a nice amount of butter & have it with a cup of coffee however they can be eaten without butter as well.
These are definitely addictive dunckers.
