INGREDIENTS
1kg of Plaaswors or Danya (if you want a bite) sausage 1 Teaspoon jeera seedsSalt to taste 2 tablespoons Maggi Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon white ground pepper 1 large onion roughly chopped 4 medium potatoes cut in quarters A pinch of rosemary
METHOD
Fry the jeera seeds in a little oil for 2 minutes, then add onions and fry until golden brown adding little bits of water so that onions doesn't burnAdd the cut up sausage, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, rosemary and salt Braise on low heat and add little bit of warm water so pot doesn't dry outWhen sausage is halfway cooked, add potatoes and cup of warm water and cook until potatoes are doneLower the heat and simmer to allow gravy to thicken Once you have the right gravy consistency (I prefer mine saucy) then serve with white basmati rice
