INGREDIENTS
250g thinly sliced steak pieces / tenderised steak 1 medium onion2 tablespoon mixed masala2 medium tomatoes chopped into chunks 1 Teaspoon salt or to taste Quarter Teaspoon turmeric1 green chillie1 tablespoon of sugar 1 small green pepper finely chopped 1 tablespoon Maggi Chilli garlic 2 cups of oil for frying 4 medium potatoes cut into chips 1,5 tablespoon of fisherman spice Some lettuce leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices (can drizzle some dressing over l)White bread or brioche bread (usually sell at Food lovers market)
METHOD
Add onions to a pan on medium heat and brown (add water little at a time so it doesn't Burn) add the chillies, green pepper, tomatoes and spices. Braise until pepper and tomatoes are soft, add in the steak and slow braise for 30 minutes in the sauce. Add the chilli garlic sauce and continue to braise on a low heat. Fry the chips until slightly brown and toss into the fisherman's spice so they all coated Once the steak is tender - steak should cut easily. Toast bread by spreading margarine or butter on one side in a pan until brown- flip both sides so they nice and toasty Now to assemble, add your steak and any other extras if you like, add a chip or two and plate. Enjoy with the hot chips and salad
