INGREDIENTS
2 kg drumsticks skin on Washed and drained 1 Fresh lemon juice1 tablespoon ginger garlic 1 tablespoon chilli garlic paste 1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon onion powderHalf teaspoon lemon pepper 2 teaspoon chicken spice 1 teaspoon paprika Half teaspoon tumeric 80g butterMarinate for an hour
Sweet/Sour Sauce
Quarter cup of drumstick gravy3 tablespoons mustard sauce 3 tablespoons tomato sauce3 tablespoons mayonnaise2 tablespoons barbeque sauce or monkey gland2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 sprigs of Parsley (optional)1 tablespoon of butter Quarter cup of waterSimmer together in a saucepan
METHOD
Cook drumsticks on 4 (medium/high heat) for 30 minutes. There will be a nice gravy that's whats needed to add to the sauce. Remove drumsticks from pot and onto a baking sheet. Place drumsticks under broiler/oven grill with 2 tablespoons of the gravy until browned and skin is crispy remove flip over and brown again.
Mix the sweet/sour sauce up on the stove top until butter is melted and everything is combined & gently simmering.
Pour over the drumsticks place back in the oven for 5 minutes remove flip drumsticks over and place back in the oven. Switch off the oven and let the drumsticks rest.Turn again before serving.Alhamdulillah all done.Served with Mashed potatoes and veggies
INFO & TIPS
Onion powder and garlic powder can be voided. Add more water little at a time if sauce is to thick
