INGREDIENTS
1. Dough3 cups flour2 teaspoon baking powder1 ¼ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter) Plus minus 1 cup Luke warm water
In a bowl add flour, salt, baking powder and butter/ghee (Clarified butter) mix with warm water to make a soft dough. Prepare a Swiss roll pan, grease, roll and place a rectangle shape dough on the swiss roll or flat sheet pan. Using a fork, slightly touch at random on dough to make pin markings.
Cover, prepare steak filling.
2. Marinated Steak filling 300g steak cut into strips or cubes Salt and pepper seasoning3 teaspoon Tandoori masala1 teaspoon lemon juice1 teaspoon ginger, garlic, red chilli mixedPrepare 2 punnets Mushrooms chop into half.1 large red onion1 green pepper cubed Fresh Spring onions 1 tablespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter) (Clarified butter)2 Tablespoon fresh cream3 Tablespoon oil
METHOD
In a preheated frying pan add oil, sauté onions, add the marinated steak filling and pan fry on high for a few minutes until slightly charred. Remove from heat and set asideIn the same pan add butter ghee (Clarified butter) (Clarified butter) fry peppers, mushroom for 3-5 minutes remove set aside.
AssemblingUse any sauce eg. sweet chilli, BBQ or steers peri peri for base, evenly, sprinkle Tandoori steak filling followed by pan fried mushroom. Bake this in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes remove and add the following ingredients
ToppingsTop with 1 cup grated cheddar cheese, 1 cup mozarrella cheese, ½ cup Parmesan sprinkle freshly ground black pepper. Top with chopped spring onions. Bake further 5 minute until just about cheese melts remove and drizzle fresh cream.Cut into large squares and enjoy.
