2 level tablespoons soft ghee (Clarified butter). 2 tablespoons semolina 2 tablespoons coconut 1 small tin nestles cream ¾ tin condensed milk 1 teaspoon rose water 1 ½ heaped teaspoon elachie ¼ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon baking powder Approximately 2 cups of flour milk to make a soft rollable dough
2 cups sugar 2 cups water Rose water to taste Elachie to taste
Use a hand beater to beat,then combine ingredients and shape into elongated log shapes with tapered ends. Fry in medium hot oil til light brown
Combine syrup ingredients and boil till slightly thick and hot. dip cold ghoolab jamms in the hot syrup….[only one turn…do not overdo this as it will be too syrupy and sprinkle with coconut… • enjoy!!
