INGREDIENTS
1 chicken (cut up) I use extra fillet cause we like white meat.1 onion chopped up finely 1 teaspoon whole jeeraA few curry leavesA few cinnamon sticksA few cloves.1 tablespoon crushed red chillies1 tablespoon paprika Half teaspoon borrie Salt to taste ( I usually add 2 tablespoon)2 tablespoon dhana 2 whole green chilies slit.1 tablespoon ginger garlicPotatoes 2 and a half cups rice.
METHOD
Add onions, whole jeera, curry leaves, cinnamon sticks and cloves in the pot with oil. Let it braise. Add all your masala to oil. Add a little bit hot water.
Add your chicken, soon after add your ginger garlic. Add 2 cups boiling water. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
Peel and cut potatoes ( I add alot of potatoes). Add rice and water ( 1 cup water= 1 cup rice). Give it a stir and let it catch one quick boil. Add to over for about 20 minutes or until all water is cooked away.
Serve with a Greek salad and plain yogurt.
