INGREDIENTS
125g butter. ½ cup sugar. 2 eggs. ¼ cup milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence. 2 teaspoon baking powder. Pinch of salt. 3 cups cake flour. 1 litre prepared custard. Or just use ultra Mel like I did.
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 deg C.Cream butter and sugar add in eggs,milk and vanilla essence and combine.Add in dry ingredients to make a soft dough.Roll 7 or 8 equal size rotis +- 20 cm in diameter.Bake on a greased baking sheet at 170 Deg C for +- 5 minutes till light brown . Then take custard and add equal amounts in 3 different bowlsAdd in 1 bowl of custard some red colouring and mix till custard pink in colour in another bowl with custard add a little green colour and mix and last bowl leave custard as is yellow then layer 1 roti down and some custard and repeat using a different colour custard each time and lastly on top of the last roti add some custard and pour nestle cream over and decorate with flake
