RECIPE
Soak 1 Cup Dhal overnight or few hoursWash drain and boil slightly till soft but grainy keep asideIn a pot Add 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) and 2 tablespoon Oil2 small pieces tuj (cinnamon stick) and little whole Jeeru (Cumin) add 2 curry leaves 2 Torn up Red dry chilies2 chopped or ½ teaspoon crushed Garlic½ teaspoon Red Masala Ginger GarlicAdd 1 finely chopped onion Saute or fry light gold Add 1 cup cubed Chicken Fillets Toss a bit let the colour change to whiteAdd ½ teaspoon crushed Black Pepper1 heaped teaspoon Dhana Jeera mix¼ teaspoon Garam masala½ teaspoon tumeric1 teaspoon crushed red chilli or Kashmiri Chili powder Braise Add 1 & ½ Grated TomatoCook for 5 minutesAdd the Dhal cook well till the Dhal is nice and soft to eat and Chicken is cookedAdjust the Chilli and Salt Curry must be a bit dry not wetServe with Kachombar, Achar and RotisGarnish with Green chopped dhania (coriander)Enjoy😋
