INGREDIENTS
5 cups (1250ml) of milk 1 cup of cremora½ cups of cornflour ½ cups of sugar1 teaspoon vanilla essence1 tablespoon of rose water1 teaspoon of cardamom powder2 teaspoon of agar agar (falooda powder)1 teaspoon of green food colouring
METHOD
Whisk all the ingredients together in a saucepan except the agar agar (falooda powder) powder.
Cook on low-medium heat until it begins to thicken slightly then add in the agar agar (falooda powder) powder keep mixing until a very thick consistency.
Remove from heat and pour in mould. Once cooled refrigerate for 2+hours
INFO & TIPS
Has a creamy texture slightly firmer than a traditional Phirni. Starts to set as it cools then can garnish with almonds.
