INGREDIENTS
1 tin Baked beans 1 x Onion1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin)1 ½ teaspoon Dhana1 teaspoon red chilli powder (level)1 teaspoon Rajah curry powder (optional) 1 teaspoon sugar ½ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon Butter 4 tablespoon oil 12 slices of breadCheese Mixed herbs
METHOD
1. In a pot add oil, onions , Jeeru (Cumin) and Dhana- cook until onions are soft, shrunk and golden
2. Once onions are done add in baked beans with a little bit of water (just enough so the beans don’t catch)
3. Bring to boil, then add in butter and the balance of your spices and sugar - let it cook on low/ medium heat
4. Grease a cupcake pan using oil or spray and cook
5. Cut the crust off your bread slices and roll out each slice using a rolling pin , just so the slice is not too thick and fits in the cupcake pan - place slices in the pan as if it were cupcake holders
6. Once the beans are done, add in the beans to the bread cups ( try not to put so much sauce so that the bread does not get drenched)
7. Grate the desired amount of cheese over each cup then sprinkle with mixed herbs or dried parsley.
8. Bake in the oven on 180 C until the bread starts toasting. You can higher the rack and change the setting to grill if you’d like your cheese to brown after it’s done.
9. Enjoy :)
