INGREDIENTS
Meat balls4 tablespoon. chana flour/ besan/chickpea flour1 kg beef mince1 onion sliced up (long)1 tablespoon. ginger garlic1 tablespoon. salt1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon. black pepper2 teaspoon. dhania (coriander)/ coriander powder1 teaspoon zeera/ cumin powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder2 sliced up chilliesAfter blending 1egg 1 teaspoon. garam masala4 cooked besan/ chana flour/ chickpea flour
Gravy1 onion1 teaspoon. ginger garlic1 tomato1 teaspoon. salt1 teaspoon. red chilli powder½ teaspoon. crushed dry chilli¼ teaspoon. turmericlater
½ cup sour milk 2 pieces of Elachi (cardomom) 1 teaspoon. coriander powder1 teaspoon black pepper
METHOD
Meat ballsTake a pan and cook the basin/ chana flour till a smell is released, approx. 3 minutesAdd all the above in a chopper and grind till mixture becomes smooth and dryAdd in the egg, basin/ chana flour and garam masala and mix Make small balls and leave aside
Add oil in a pan and fry the meat balls(the oil must be hot) and later lower the heat when the balls are placed in the oil
Gravy In a pan heat oil and add in the onions and cook till light brownAdd in ginger garlic and cook for 3 minutesAdd in the tomatoes and spices and cook for approx. 3 minutesAdd the mixture in a blender and blend together
In a pot add in the mixture and cook for 2 minutesAdd in the sour milk and Elachi (cardomom) and cook till the sour milk water in is goneAdd in the coriander and black pepper powder and mix
Finally add in the balls and place the lid over the pot and cook for 7/8 minutes on low heat.
INFO & TIPS
Tip wash the onion then slice it up
Never add wet onions into the meat balls
