Boil 2 ½ cups rice ½ way. Set aside.Fry 5 med. Potatoes cut in ¼s. Set aside.
1 ½ kg Wash and drained chicken pieces. Add in:1½ cups liquidised tomatoes ½ tin Tomato puree or 2 pkts Tomato paste 1 cup fresh cream ¼ cup milk1 teaspoon each (adjust if necessary)Salt Chilli powder arad (Turmeric) Dhana jeeroo crushed chillies 1 tablespoon @purespice_sa ginger garlic 1 tablespoon @sujees green masala Saffron essence
Braise 2 sliced onions in ghee (Clarified butter) with few cloves Taj peppercorns slit chillies Elachi (cardomom). Whole jeeru (cumin) Add in marinated chicken. Cook 10 minutes.Sprinkle chopped dhania (coriander) Lay Potatoes RiceSprinkle fried onions Few tablespoon butter Close with foil.Cook on stove top 10 minutes.Bake at 180⁰ for 40 minutes.Serve with dahy and kachumbar etc
