INGREDIENTS
DOUGH:
20g sugar10g yeast4g salt300ml warm waterMix togetherAdd 420g flour and mix to form a dough.Add 45ml oil/olive oil and mix with a to form a soft dough. (I used a spatula first then mixed with my hands).Cover and rest for at least 40min until double in size.
METHOD
SAUCE:
2 cloves garlic – crushed ( or use the green masala)30ml water2g mint or mixed herbs30ml oil20g tomato paste20g tomato sauceMix together and set aside.
Once dough has risen transfer to a floured surface and punch down to get the air out the dough. Divide dough in 2 equal parts. Roll into two round balls, cover and leave to rest for 5 minutes. roll out dough. Put onto parchment paper. inflate the edge. Poke dough with a fork. Spread with sauce and filling of your choice. Top with cheese and sprinkle oregano over. Brush the inflated edge with beaten egg. Bake 15min in 180 degree Celsius oven.
