INGREDIENTS

MARINADE
½ cup oil
1 grated onion
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 cup tomato puree
1 cup tomato sauce
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
½ cup caramel brown sugar
1 tablespoon chilli paste
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup water
Salt to taste
Chicken wings or chicken pieces
METHOD
Heat oil in a pot.
Sauté onion, garlic and ginger for 4-5 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients, except chicken wings.
Allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool completely
Pour over chicken and refrigerate overnight.
Baste a few times during grilling.
