INGREDIENTS
1 chicken portioned
Marinade:2 teaspoon crushed ginger2 teaspoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon course black pepper3 tablespoon lemon juice2 tablespoon chopped coriander1&1/2 teaspoon salt2 tablespoon vinegar1 teaspoon honey 1&1/2 teaspoon green chilli paste2 Cup thick plain yoghurt
3 tablespoon oil2 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 Cup hot water
1 tablespoon fine almonds1/2 teaspoon saffron - soaked into 1/2 Cup boiling water1/2 Cup fresh cream
METHOD
Marinate chicken for 10 minutesHeat oil on low. Add chilli powder and turmeric allow to cook for 1-2minsAdjust heat to medium and add chicken with marinade - cook uncovered for 10mins until chicken is brownedAdd 1/2 Cup water, close lid and cook until chicken is tender Add almonds and saffron with water and mix wellAdd cream and mix gentlyRemove from heat and sprinkle over garnish
Garnish: 1/2 teaspoon garam masala2 tablespoon chopped coriander
