This Cake is Soft as Syrup is poured over once baked
METHOD
MAKE YOUR SYRUP KEEP IT WARM SEE BELOW
MIX TOGETHERIN A DISH
1Cup Flour, 1 Cup soji (semolina) (Semolina)1Cup Sugar ,1 Cup Coconut (Toast Slightly)1 teaspoon Crushed Elachi (cardomom) 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
Now in A Dish Beat 4 Eggs wellAdd Vanilla Essence 1& ¾ Cup Milk (Room Temp)2 tablespoon lemon Juice
Add 250 g Melted Butter or ghee (Clarified butter) to the MILK MIXTUREThen Mix well to the dry ingredients
Pour in a greased casseroleBaje in Oven For 25-30 minutes at 180* or until done Remove
MAKE A SYRUP
1 &½ Cup Sugar I like it sweet1 Cup WaterRose Essence Saffron strands Elachi (cardomom) pod 1 Cinnamon Stick Bring the above to Boil to a slightly thick syrupNOWREMOVE THE Elachi (cardomom) POD AND THE CINNAMON STICKPoke the Cake Pour the Warm SyrupOver the Cake
Garnish with Almonds /Pistas/Pecans
WHEN THE CAKE IS COOLED CUT IN BLOCKSSERVE COLD
