Very Simple in Expensive
RECIPE
Grate 1kg Carrots (on the big side if the Grater)2 Cups milkAdd the above to the Steam Pot Close the lid let it do 1 Whistle Remove from stove allow for steam to escape Open Check Close Put back on stove ..After the second whistle remove Add it to normal potCook the carrots on low heat until it's soft and mushy and thickAnd reduced NOW In A Seperate Pot Add 225g Butter (I didn't use ghee (Clarified butter))2 tuj (cinnamon stick) 2 Elachi (cardomom) podsAdd Almonds Cashew nuts pista (pistachio nuts) Etc Allow to braise Add 1 level Curry spoon Semolina (or 4Tblsp)2Tblsp.Dessicated Coconut Allow to braise and change colour Add the Carrots Cook for 10min whilst stirring in low heat Once you see it reduced moreAdd ¾ cup Sugar (or to taste )4 tablespoon Condensed Keep stirring Add Saffron and Powdered Elachi (cardomom) Cook till the Butter seeps on the sides of the pot and The Halwa is done Garnish with more Almonds pisra etc Enjoy 😋
